Region Infected Recovered Death

(Statics for Corona virus in 2020/4/18 from Google)

Hello everyone hope you are safe and not too bored of quarantine like I am.

I would like to update about how things are in Tokyo Japan where I live.

2 days ago, Japanese government declared state of emergency over coronavirus(Covid-19) not only to big cities but to all region in Japan.

In Japan, government can't control citizen's move as much as other countries in EU or the US but people are strongly recommended to stay home as much as possible.

Food supply in supermarkets, drugstores is normal and they are opened normally. Major department stores and clothing stores are closed. Small shops owned by individual owners are still tend to be opened despite the state of emergency to protect their business...

Local trains, metros and express trains are still in work with normal schedule. On the other hands flights domestic/international have been decreased half.

People are recommended to work from home and government asked companies to reduce people to come to the office down to 20% but still people go to office.

Every year school year starts in the beginning of April in Japan, but all college, university, high school, middle school, elementary school and kindergarten is closed both public and private. Some of them are starting online classes. Only Nursery is allowed to open.

I've wrote what came up to mind right now but comment below if you have anything you want to know more!

I'll keep you updated!

Stay safe,

RO
